Thoughts on Living the Life Creative
Someone once told that you haven't lost if you keep getting back off the ground and trying. So I'm back off the ground. And the overall impact of last week turned out to be exactly zero. Maybe that means I didn't gain anything and just held even. I'd rather think that getting back on task... Continue Reading →
Podcast for the week of April 18, 2016 This week on the TVFTP podcast: The story of AMC's very brief flirtation with allowing texting in movie theaters passed almost too quickly for me to comment. Almost. The end of the Rush Limbaugh media kingdom may be coming to an end. Time to offer some respect,... Continue Reading →

Over the last couple years, I have had a great location to do my walking and running (when I've managed to pull that off). Just a few miles away is a great local park with a small lake in the center. Given the Scottish history of the name of the town where I live (Midlothian),... Continue Reading →

Won't even lie. This week I just gave up. Not permanently, but I just couldn't face the struggle this week. I got virtually no exercise and stuffed my face with leftover Easter candy. We didn't plan a menu and ate out several times. Complete catastrophe. And I just didn't care. The lack of any kind... Continue Reading →
Podcast for the week of April 11, 2016 This week on the TVFTP podcast: The next step in the evolution of advertising may be here. Soon the ads we see may have been created by artificial intelligences. What will that really mean? High-tech companies may not always be on top of the latest tech in... Continue Reading →

One of the things we discovered very quickly when we arrived in RVA is that the list of places to eat appears to be infinite. This has caused a certain distress to our waistlines (an ongoing struggle described in these posts). With our second anniversary here approaching, I thought I could share some of our...
