Yeah, sudden gaps inevitably mean that things aren’t going well. The number down at the bottom isn’t good at all. I’m really struggling with my eating at the moment.
But I’ve decided to focus on those things that are working well. My training for the 5k continues. Just the fact that it’s still going is good news. I’ve shifted from a focus on times because, well, because time is really not the important thing here. Getting the distance under control is my new goal.
This past week I managed to do the complete distance for the run. It’s actually a 6k so the distance is approximately 3.75 miles. That’s just short of seven laps of the lake I using as my training base. I did the distance in 58:29. Given that I was power walking the distance, doing it in less than an hour feels like a victory. Slowly we’ll work at bringing that down by including more running segments.
One step at a time.
It would help if I remembered to wear my Fitbit every day too!

My resolution remains :
I want to am going to be The Guy again. The Guy weighed 175 pounds and looked good and felt good. And his blood pressure was good and his blood tests were good. (New photo of The Guy)
