The Time Traveler’s Wife (2009) – A wonderful romance about a man who has a genetic condition that makes him slip back and forth in time. He meets a girl who will eventually become his wife and they face the issues of his condition together. A heartwarming story that focuses on the effects of time travel rather than the cause.

Interstellar (2014) – A stunningly beautiful, thought-provoking science fiction movie (that also involves time travel). This is what a sci-fi movie can be.

Trumbo (2015) – Bryan Cranston continues to establish his cred as one of the great actors of today. A great story of one of the legendary figures of the Hollywood Blacklist era. Great supporting cast (Diane Lane, John Goodman, and more) as well.
