Two Gifts For The Price of One!

Holiday gift shopping is always a battle between the wish list and budget. So can I interest in you in a gift that will make two people happy every time you buy one?

Buy a book from an indie author!

You will be giving someone you love a great new book, plus you’ll give the author the gift they want the most. A sale!

If you count independent authors among your friends, you can make their holiday brighter with three simple steps (and two of them are free!)

• Buy a book. “I bought your book” are some of the sweetest words an author can hear. A book sale is much better than a sweater, or tools or even a gift certificate to a book store (though that’s REALLY close)

• Leave a rating – Love those five-star ratings, but any rating helps. More ratings will help future sales.

• Leave a review – Again, any kind of review is good. If you didn’t like the book, we’re sad, but tell us why. “This book sucks” isn’t helpful, but one that says “The story never engaged me, and the characters were boring” is. Believe it or not, getting lots of reviews, good or bad, is a HUGE help.

Best of all, after giving a gift to the author, you still have a gift for someone on your gift list (even if it’s yourself). Two gifts, every time!
