Some Photography When I Wandered

My plans to get out and get some more new photography to share took a hit over the last several weeks. My wife fell and broke her leg, requiring surgery. So, I was cast in the role of primary caretaker, and that chews up a lot of time and energy.

But I want to keep the pattern rolling, so I’ve reached back into my files from last year for some stuff I liked. Hope you do too. I’m amused as I go through the files and the stuff I’ve posted before by how many flower photos there are. I do not consider myself a floral photographer, but there is something beautiful and enticing about flowers.

There’s a great state park just a couple miles away that I’ve only begun to explore. Loved the framing of the overflow of the dam.
Yes, I remain fascinated by dead leaves. This one gave so many colors and textures I couldn’t resist. Spring is coming so I’ll probably focus on other things for a while.

Things are settling down, and the weather is warming. Gives me hope that I can add to the photo file for 2025 soon.
