Labor Day!

Back when I was on the radio I would always remember that holidays are never holidays for everyone.  There are always health professionals who work and emergency folk on call and law

enforcement folks who still need to work.  Plus the folks who work at stores and restaurants so we can spend more money.  Even this holiday, set aside to celebrate the working people of our nation and their contributions, doesn’t result in everyone getting a day off.  To me that’s kind of sad.

I am going to take the day off from blogging.  Take some time today to be with family and friends, doing things you enjoy doing.  If you are one of the people who keep the world turning so there is something approaching normal for the rest of us to return to on Tuesday, know that you have my thanks.  Take whatever time you have today to treat yourself.
